Similar to previous inquiry., US has a NEW international CITES regulations starting March 5, 2026. The Permits Needed: The shipper in China must obtain a CITES Export Permit from Chinese authorities to prove the Pernambuco wood was harvested before September 13, 2007. The buyer, must match this with a CITES Import Permit. If the bow is shipped via DHL without the physical CITES export/import permits attached to the paperwork, U.S. Customs and USFWS will confiscate the bow.
