Heavier, longer, German snakewood double bass bow

I am looking for a heavier, longer German bow - in the 180 - 200g range and playing hair 58-60cm. Is this possible? Thanks!

Thanks for your message, for snakewood, about 170g is fine at working hair length of 58cm. But too heavy will make the shaft too big diameter. Please let me know if you have tried a similarbow that is about 200g, we can discuss about the weight.

Right - The bows that I’ve seen/tried that were heavier than 180g were a good bit longer - around 85cm total so that the stick still balances the same and the stick was still on the beefy side but no bigger than my Schuster (German hold) which weighs around 140 and is about 77cm. I like the heavier bows, but longer is more what I’m going for…

I do like bows on the heavier side, but thinking about it more, I’m looking for a full two feet - 61cm of playing hair. That’s my main goal - 2 feet of playing hair - if that means it weighs 170-180 -that is good. Almost every bow I play, i want it to be longer. My current bow is about to need a rehair - it has 58.5cm of playing hair when tightened - it’s stretched a good bit since I got it.
